We all struggle with emotional pain at difficult times in our lives. I want
to help you understand and work through your pain to promote positive growth
and goal attainment. These are difficult times and we all have busy lives
filled with never-ending To Do lists. Who has time to identify, express and
move beyond painful emotions? Just like we make time to eat, sleep, and get
work done, it is important to make time for healing.
A note about Women's Issues
: Whether you are a stay-at-home Mom or a Working Woman, you probably
struggle with the stress of many roles. Research has consistently shown that
working women continue to complete the bulk of household tasks. Many women
feel responsible for mundane tasks like grocery shopping, meal preparation,
house cleaning, laundry, doctor's appointments, pet care, and family
activities. At the same time, women are often the emotional managers:
staying in tuned with how family members are feeling, helping them problem
solve when upset, resolving and preventing family conflicts, and "keeping
the peace." This amounts to an exhausting list of responsibilities, and
that's just speaking of home life! Add to that such tasks as staying in
touch with extended family and friends, helping neighbors and attending
important meetings. If you are a working woman, all these tasks happen
before and after a busy work day. No wonder many women are emotionally and
physically exhausted much of the time. I welcome the opportunity to
